SJSU Athletics signs with Paciolan to create first membership subscription model

SAN JOSE, CA – San Jose State Athletics and Paciolan have initiated a strategic relationship to deliver the first fully integrated membership subscription model for One Spartan Nation, announced by Director of Athletics Jeff Konya tuesday. The Spartans will be the first intercollegiate property to incorporate a comprehensive subscription model that includes fundraising, ticket sales, exclusive media content, events and future revenue streams, all unified under the subscription. membership in One Spartan Nation.

Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, fundraising and marketing solutions for college athletics, will power ticket sales for all on-campus events, including athletics events at CEFCU Stadium, concerts and athletics events at the Provident Credit Union Event Center, and all future events at the Spartan Athletics Center. Additionally, Paciolan will power San Jose State’s ticketing and fundraising efforts for One Spartan Nation with advanced mobile ticketing, marketing automation, fundraising and access management solutions to boost ticket sales, increase donations and improve the customer experience.

    • Season ticket holders and fans can also manage tickets through mobile account management features that allow them to transfer or redeem tickets for events they cannot attend.

  • Paciolan will provide best-in-class tools to deliver enhanced benefits to season ticket holders and donors under the agreement
    • These tools include various fundraising features to facilitate donations to support student-athletes, access priority points, and manage donor benefits through a single, integrated, mobile-centric platform.
    • San Jose State Athletics will implement Paciolan’s marketing automation solution to create personalized customer campaigns and automated communications based on each fan’s preferences. As a result, Spartan fans will receive personalized messages based on their purchase history, donor status, viewing habits and affinity, all personalized for each fan.

  • SJSU fans will also be able to take advantage of virtual views of their venues created by Paciolan-owned Ballena Technologies when purchasing tickets.

  • Event ticketing will be integrated with SJSUspartans.com powered by SIDEARM Sports. This integration gives Spartan fans instant access to rich information about remaining ticket inventory and prices on high-traffic web pages, including the schedule page

San José State University will receive signing service and support from Paciolan as a partner. Spartans Athletics staff will work with a strategic client partner, an e-commerce operations specialist, a marketing automation specialist and a digital marketing specialist to support the university’s goals and consult with them on how best to take advantage of the comprehensive tools at their disposal.
