Melbourne Storm offers free membership for 2022
NRL Minor Premiers and defending champions Melbourne Storm are giving their Victorian fans a free membership for 2022.
Storm fans have only watched their team five times in the past two years at AAMI Park due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The initiative is the first of a Victorian club, with Storm rewarding loyal fans for their support.
âThe Purple Army has grown to reach a record number of members in the face of COVID,â the club said in a letter to fans.

âYou have not only shown your commitment by purchasing a membership each year, but you have also engaged with the club and our players in record numbers on our social and digital media channels.
âWe couldn’t be the club we are today without your support – it was overwhelming.
“That is why next year we are happy to announce that your membership is with us – your club, Melbourne Storm.”
Melbourne meets Penrith in the second preliminary final at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday, with the winner advancing to meet the winner between Friday’s South Sydney encounter and Manly.
